David began his career working at Vidal Sassoon San Francisco as a stylist. He developed a passion for teaching which led him to become a full time cutting instructor at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica. Upon his return to San Francisco, David worked as Cutting Director for Architects & Heroes. David then went on to work at Di Pietro Todd salon, followed by Cowboys and Angels in Union Square where he led the teaching program. It was during this time where David decided to diversify his skills and went back to school for his barber's license. With more than 20 years experience, David Fogle now calls TokyoSF salon on California Street home.
